WALK WITH ME
There were parts of my journey I walked alone.
Not because there weren't people around me.
There were.
But being surrounded by people and having someone you can really talk to are two very different things.
There were moments when I didn't understand what was happening inside me. When life looked completely different from what I thought it would. When I questioned my decisions, my relationships, myself… and had absolutely no idea what came next.
During those moments, I often wished there was someone I could simply talk to.
Not someone to fix me.
Not someone to tell me what I should do.
Not someone who had all the answers.
Just someone who would listen.
Someone who understood that sometimes you don't need an answer immediately. Sometimes you just need to say things out loud without being judged, without pretending you're okay, and without someone immediately telling you what to do next.
I didn't always have that person.
So I walked.
Sometimes in the right direction.
Sometimes absolutely not.
I made mistakes. I went backwards. I held onto things I probably should have let go of earlier. I asked myself a lot of questions. I started writing.
And little by little, somewhere along that road, I started finding my way back to myself.
That journey eventually became As Things Unfold.
But there's something I've thought about many times since.
What if I'd had someone beside me?
Not to walk the road for me.
Just to walk a little of it with me.
Maybe some parts would have been easier. Maybe I would have understood certain things sooner.
Or maybe nothing would have changed at all.
I don't know.
But I know I would have liked to have had that person.
And that's partly why I'm here now.
Maybe something I've lived, learned, written or discovered can help you see something differently.
Maybe it won't.
Because your journey is yours. And your way won't necessarily be mine.
I'm not here to tell you how to live your life. I don't have all the answers, and I'm still figuring out parts of my own life too.
But I've been lost.
I've had to start again.
And I found my way forward.
So if you're somewhere right now where life doesn't look quite the way you thought it would…
maybe you'd rather start by exploring things quietly on your own.
Or maybe you simply need another human being to talk to.
Either is okay.
Because this isn't about me showing you the way.
It's about being there while you find yours.
I had to walk much of my journey alone.
You don't necessarily have to.
HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO WALK?
YOUR JOURNEY
I'd like to start on my own.
A place to stop for a moment, think, answer some questions, and perhaps see where you are from a slightly different angle.
LET'S TALK
I'd rather not walk this part alone.
Sometimes what you need isn't another answer. It's simply a real conversation with another human being.
