This Is Me…

This Is Me…

I am a son. I am a father. A friend. A lover. A dreamer. A human being who has felt on his own skin what it is like to lose yourself sometimes…

I've been successful at things. I've failed at others.

I've made good decisions, bad decisions, and some decisions that seemed absolutely brilliant at the time… until life explained otherwise.

I've loved. I've lost. I've started again.

More than once.

And somewhere along the way, I stopped trying to become the person I thought I was supposed to be…

and started becoming me

Not a finished version.

Not a perfect one.

Just me.

Perfectly imperfect.

Still learning. Still changing. Still dreaming.

And definitely still unfolding.

Portrait

How All This Started…

As Things Unfold was never supposed to become all this.

Actually, there was no plan.

It started with words.

I began writing because sometimes putting things into words was the only way I could understand what was happening inside me.

Life. Love. Loss. Fear. Hope. Starting over.

The strange roads we take while thinking we are going somewhere completely different.

I wrote about things I lived.

Things I felt.

Things I understood only after they happened.

And somehow, those words started reaching other people.

There were people I had never met who were reading something I had written and saying:

“I felt this too.”

That changed something for me.

Because suddenly these weren't only my thoughts anymore.

They became conversations.

Then some of those thoughts became pages.

Some became songs.

And eventually, they became As Things Unfold

A place where I don't have to pretend that life always makes sense.

Because mine certainly hasn't.

But looking back, I wouldn't erase the unexpected roads.

Some were beautiful.

Some hurt like hell.

Some completely changed me.

But every one of them brought me here.

And Now?

I still don't have all the answers.

And I hope I never pretend that I do.

I'm simply trying to live differently.

More consciously.

More honestly.

Trying to notice the moments while they are happening instead of understanding their value only after they are gone.

Trying to choose the people who choose me.

Trying to stay open without losing myself.

Trying to keep believing that there are still beautiful things ahead.

And maybe that's what As Things Unfold really is.

Not a lesson.

Not a method.

Not someone telling you how life should be lived.

Just one human being sharing what he sees, feels, learns, screws up, understands…

and occasionally turns into words or music.

Maybe you'll recognize yourself somewhere in here.

Maybe you won't.

Either way…

this is my journey.

This is where I am today.

Tomorrow?

We'll see.

After all…

life didn't go as planned.

Somehow, that became the plan.
